The graph displays the enormous imbalance in performance of national equity markets that we are witnessing. While the recent volatility in some Far Eastern markets has left traces, the overall impression of imbalance across countries remains unchanged. South Korea and Taiwan have no true rival in such a ranking.
But note the divergence of Asian markets among each other. If anything, the remaining Asian markets make up the tail end of the list. That includes India, which had previously enjoyed stellar performance for years.
